Course Overview:
Specifically designed for young people, Urban First Aid is a unique, insightful and meaningful course.
It is aimed at teaching the principles of first aid to today’s young people focusing on real situations and encounters that they may find themselves faced with.
This course is delivered by a fully qualified teacher and professional first aid trainer with many years of experience working with young people from all backgrounds.
This course is very interactive and practical in nature and is delivered at a level that can be understood by young people. This would be ideal to include into many youth activity programmes or projects.
By constantly reinforcing basic principles and procedures and building on these throughout the day candidates will learn a systematic approach to first aid that can be applied to any given situation. Assessment is continuous throughout the course by way of practical demonstrations.
Our courses are delivered in a fun and relaxed manner using incident based scenarios appropriate to the context of the course. The training methods and techniques used on our courses are specifically designed to make first aiders more confident when dealing with real life incidents.
